History:
In 2000, Gary Levell, Chris Crawshay
and Andrew Millington collaborated to create their email disclaimer
and signature software: Exclaimer.
Exchange had no facility for adding
one manually so a number of clients working with Millington's and
Crawshay's IT reselling agency had asked them for a bespoke
solution.
Assuming it would be simple and
straightforward, they initially looked for out-of-the-box products
online – and found nothing. Seeing an opportunity, they recruited
Gary Levell as head developer and devoted their experience and
expertise to creating a product that not only did what their clients
asked but fulfilled all their expectations for software: strong,
simple and supported by great service. In more than a decade, those
core values have not changed.
People:
But in 12 years, the organization has
changed: from three entrepreneurs to a 40-strong, multi-national,
multi-discipline team comprising everything from the staple
developers to graphic designers and even data analysts.
Exclaimer values the diversity of
contribution: from the stalwart, methodical support engineers to the
inventive, imaginative software developers – and vice versa and all
that occurs in between. Since the founders themselves represent a
broad spectrum of talents and personality types, it's intrinsic in
Exclaimer's culture to recognize that great products, service and
ideas all come from a range of talents, learning styles and
outlooks.
Culture:
But some things are shared by
everyone at Exclaimer: our core values. Strength, simplicity and
support are at the centre of everything Exclaimer does or offers.
Strong products should be robust
under all circumstances, no matter how rare, unusual or exacting.
Software should be an asset the company can trust. That may mean
Exclaimer has to extensively and exhaustively test its products, but
that's the unique Exclaimer quality. We punish it harder and push it
further than most of our customers ever will. But in case they do,
we do too. Simplicity goes hand in hand with that: the structure,
the interface, the way we code it, our products should be absolutely
simple. It's easier for you to understand, to scale, to customize
and to maintain.
That applies to our service too,
since you're supported by a team of professional, devoted, diligent
individuals. Since founding Exclaimer, we've tried to create
software that we would want: software we can trust, that we can use
and deploy easily. But, when we need help, we'd want to know it was
right there, ready and waiting.

Centralize your Email Signatures
Create a signature template using text, images
and dynamic fields. Use rules to assign different signatures to different
people. Click 'Save' and you're done.
As each email is processed by our Exchange
signature software at the email server, Signature Manager Exchange Edition will:
- Add the signature
content you’ve designed to your emails according to rules you control.
- Update the sender's Sent
Items folder so they can see what was sent.
- Use data for the dynamic fields
from the message, sender, recipient or even a social media profile.
- Automatically hide/display
some content based on rules: show social media links on the sales team’s
emails, but not on legal’s.
For Microsoft Exchange
Because our Exchange signature software is
working directly with your email server, you get total control:
- Signatures and disclaimers
get added at the server so your users can't change them.
- Every email, even
messages from mobile devices, can have full, dynamic, professional
signatures.
- Use recipient-based rules –
so, for example, use an internal design on emails to colleagues.

Centralize Your Email Signatures

Signature Manager Outlook Edition, our Outlook
signature software solution creates email signatures and distributes them to
each user so they get the right signatures for their role with their details
dynamically completed from the Active Directory. When they start writing an
email, the right signature's automatically added below their message as they
type. You can give users multiple signatures so they can even manually select
the one they want from Outlook's drop-down menu.
I would recommend this product to
any other organization- DeLong, Caldwell, Bridgers & Fitzpatrick, L.L.C.
Install it on any Windows machine in your network
– PC or server – maybe on a computer in the marketing department, so they can
create and update signatures without calling on IT.
Signature Manager Outlook Edition is our award
winning Outlook signature software solution used by thousands of organizations
of every size and sector around the world.

it for free.
Whatever Your Outlook
Signature Manager Outlook Edition will centrally
create, control and deploy signatures for all popular versions of Outlook from
2003 onwards – including OWA. You don't need Exchange and it supports Office 365
users.
And if you're worried about mobile users with
tablets and smartphones who can't use Outlook then don't be. Our Signature
Manager Exchange Edition product serves their needs perfectly and anyone
buying Signature Manager Outlook Edition can get a license to use Exchange
Edition at half the usual cost.
Using Rules
Rules let you define exactly which users get
which signatures. Combine conditions that the user must meet such as 'is a
member of the Sales OU' with exceptions that they must not, such as: 'is not a
member of the Company Director Distribution Group' to create powerful rules.
Rules get combined with signature templates to
create policies. That means you can arrange for a user to have any number of
signatures and let them choose the one that's appropriate to the email they're
working on. Maybe you want the Sales Director to be able to select one of the
Sales team's promotional signatures as well as the one appropriate to her
position on the board.
You can even set up a campaign policy to add a
banner to your signature for a specific period – to promote a seasonal sale or
explain irregular working hours during a holiday. It's all possible with our
powerful rules system.
