GFI Archiver enables companies to manage their email, calendar and file history all in one place and provides easy access whenever they need it. It is an essential addition to any backup strategy because it keeps a readily available version of users email conversations as well as their important files.

By using GFI Archiver with it's file sharing capabilities, businesses gain the productivity benefits of popular file sync and sharing tools, but with peace of mind that vital (and often confidential) company information is stored in a safe, compliant and manageable place within their company’s infrastructure.

What’s new in GFI Archiver 2015?
In the latest version we have added a number of important new features.

These include:

New deployments no longer require Microsoft Active Directory and can choose to use the GFI Directory as a replacement
File History Retention – easy control over different storage versions of archived files for improved server space management.
Archive stores management utilities – available as a separate download for administrators who need to do maintenance on their databases, including exporting to a new database and splitting older archive stores into smaller ones.

GFI Archiver meets the needs of a wide range of businesses that need to archive email but this solution takes their archiving capabilities to another level, helping them improve global communication between teams, lower the risks of data leakage and reduce backup costs across the organization.

Processor:

Minimum: Intel Pentium or compatible - 2GHz 32 bit processor.
Recommended: x64 architecture-based server with Intel 64 architecture or AMD64 platform.

Memory:

Minimum: 1GB RAM (dedicated to GFI Archiver)
Recommended: 3GB RAM (dedicated to GFI Archiver)

Physical storage:

Minimum: 400MB physical disk space (NTFS) for GFI Archiver installation. More space is required for the email databases.
Recommended: Server with 4 physical drives, with the ability to increase storage space on demand when required.
